Airmini Maintenance and Cleaning

Regularly cleaning your AirMini machine will help you enjoy top quality therapy for a very long time. Disassembling, cleaning and regularly checking your machine are all part of good maintenance for your high quality CPAP.

How to disassemble AirMini

For F20 and N20 only:

• Gently remove the connector from the mask of the CPAP. Make sure to keep the side buttons pressed and pull away.

For F20 only:

• Disconnect the AirMini tubing system. Disconnect the F20 connector from the tubing system by twisting and then pulling apart.

AirMini tubing disconnect for N20 and AirFit P10 only:

• Make sure to disconnect the ventilation module from the tubing system of the AirMini. Gently twist and then pull apart.

Removing HumidX / HumidX Plus – N20 + AirFit P10 only:

• Disconnect the mask from the vent module. Gently twist and then pull apart. HumidX or HumidX Plus must be removed from the ventilation module.

*It is extremely important to keep in mind that HumidX or HumidX Plus are not washable.

Unplugging the AirMini machine

• Press the side buttons on the cuff and pull away to disconnect the AirMini tubing system from the machine itself
• Next, unplug the power supply unit from the power source + the machine

In order to disassemble the mask, please check the user guide.

When you detach all the components of the machine, you must make sure to store HumidX/ HumidX Plus in a dry and clean location. However, each time you disassemble/clean your machine you should carefully inspect the HumidX humidifier system.

• Check for any signs of wear and tear, damage or possible blockage.
• Ensue to replace your HumidX/HumidX Plus every 30 days
• Always store in a clean and dry place your humidifier when not in use.
• You cannot wash the HumidX/ HumidX Plus components

Thoroughly cleaning the AirMini Tubing system

• Carefully inspect the air tubing system at least once a week
• Ensure to replace your AirMini tubing system once in 6 months
• Gently wash the tubing system using lukewarm water and a mild dishwashing detergent
• Rinse thoroughly and let air dry
• If you notice any cracks, holes or other signs of wear/tear you should immediately replace your AirMini tubing system

*Never wash your AirMini tubing in the dishwasher/washing machine.

Cleaning & maintenance for the F20 Connector for AirMini

• Check and clean the F20 connector of your machine on a daily basis
• Wash the connector in lukewarm water using a mild detergent
• Thoroughly cleanse it by using a brush with soft bristles.
• Rinse under running water. Let it air dry.
• Check once more if there is any blockage in the vent holes (dirt, dust, etc.)

Cleaning & Maintenance of N20 connector for AirMini

• Check and clean the N20 connector on a daily basis
• Replace the connector every six moths
• Always wash the connector in lukewarm water by using a mild detergent
• Clean it using a brush with soft bristles
• Pay particular attention to the vent holes you can find within the connector.
• Rinse under running water. Let it air dry.

Do not wash the N20 connector in the dishwasher/ washing machine.

Changing air filter for your AirMini machine

• Replace the air filters every six months for proper operation of your AirMini. You cannot wash the air filter. Replace it sooner if you notice any signs of wear and tear, holes or any blockage.

How to change the air filter

• First, slide the cover of the filter off and remove the filter
• Insert the new filter
• Replace the cover of the air filter

In order to prevent water or dust from entering your machine, you must ensure that the air filter cover is fitted properly at all times.

AirMini tubing system, connectors, HumidX / HumidX Plus humidifiers and the vent module must be replaced because they cannot be disinfected and used on a shared basis between patients.
