Operation instructions
- Power on the unit. When the Clean-Z is powered on, there will be a 1-minute preparation period, with an audible single beep. This is when you will notice a slow flashing red LED light
- After the initial startup stage, the Clean –Z will start producing Ozone and start the cleaning process which lasts 30 minutes.
- The Fresh Air stage- Clean- Z stops producing Ozone, and a green LED light will cycle from LED 1 to LED 3. Next, the fan will keep running for 5 minutes in order to flush the residual ozone
- Cleaning stage complete- Clean –Z stops working and the 3 green LED lights will be on, followed by 3 beeping sounds
Use Motif Clean –Z CPAP sanitizer in order to clean the CPAP mask and the tubing. You need to insert the mask and the tubing into the sanitizing bag and then connect the Clean –Z by the ozone port. Next, power the Clean –Z on and the device will start the sanitation process.
Please keep in mind that you need to replace the filter once every six months. The filter cartridge converts Ozone back into regular air. It is also important to wait at least 1 hour after the sanitation process is over. This will ensure there is no ozone residing inside your equipment.
- Do not place the Clean –Z in a damp area or in direct sunlight for prolonged periods
- Keep your sanitizer in a dry, ventilated and clean environment when not in use
- Maintain the Clean-Z device and the bag dust free. Periodically wipe your unit with a damp cloth. In case the sanitizer bag becomes dirty, you can hand wash it and then allow it to air dry.
