The new AirCurve 10 VAuto is a Bi-Level auto-adjusting device using the
comfort of the Easy Breathe patented technology and the efficiency of the
AutoSet algorithm to deliver the new VAuto algorithm for the treatment of
Obstructive Sleep Apnea. AirCurve 10 VAuto brings better pressure support,
quicker compliance and more efficient treatment.
AirCurve 10 VAuto is capable of adjusting the baseline pressure in order
to keep the airway of the patient open, while the fixed pressure support
is maintained.
Easy Breathe Pressure Waveform Integration
Patented Easy Breathe technology basically mimics the natural breathing
pattern of the patient and helps delivering a comfortable and as natural
as possible BiLevel therapy right at the mask. AirCurve 10 VAuto
provides an effortless, comfortable solution to patients requiring more
personalized sleep therapy at home.
Climate Control Technology
AirCurve 10 VAuto is an exceptionally smart device that
is automatically set to provide therapy at the most convenient temperature
and humidity levels. For maximum humidity and temperature comfort, the
device should be used with the new HumidAir humidifier system and the
ClimateLine heated tube system. Most importantly,
patients do not have to navigate complex menus or perform any changes,
because everything is simple and straightforward about the new AirCurve 10
VAuto. The device can be set up quickly and easily, being ready for use
within minutes.
Other Advanced Features Incorporated
Adjustable Trigger &
Cycle- an innovative feature allowing for a better synchrony between
device and patient all throughout the therapy.
TiControl- valuable
feature that allows the clinician to set the minimum and maximum time
limits on each part of the spontaneous inspiration time of the
patient. This feature is also capable of eliminating late cycling, so
that the patient is provided with sufficient expiratory time.
TiControl is indeed an extremely valuable feature especially in the
case of patients with more advanced therapeutic needs such as patients
with COPD- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or even COPD/OSA
overlap syndrome.
Continuous Leak
Management with VSync- special leak management algorithm that
continuously monitors mask leaks and compensates for the leaks to
ensure maximum breathing comfort throughout all the stages of required
therapy. Patients will receive at all times therapy at the prescribed
levels, without experiencing discomfort caused by accidental mask
leaks. VSync works together with TiControl to provide most reliable
breath detection throughout therapy, detect and compensate in cases of
high mask leaks. VSync responds reliably to every single breath with
perfect synchrony.
AirView- this is a
cloud based patient management platform that allows users to access
therapy data or to troubleshoot using the Remote Assist advanced
feature. AirView also allows patients to change remotely the device
settings anytime needed.

Settings Options
The device features a smart menu that allows patients to make certain
changes in order to personalize therapy and make it even more comfortable
to their needs and requirements.
Adjusting Ramp Time-
this feature allows patients to fall asleep on a gentle pressure, and
the device will start delivering prescribed pressure only when Ramp
Time is up. Patients can adjust Ramp Time from 5 and up to 45 minutes.
Many patients feel uncomfortable having to breathe against higher
pressures when trying to fall asleep, so Ramp Time is indeed a
valuable comfort feature of this oxygen therapy device.
Adjusting Humidity
Levels- Therapy becomes more comfortable when the air coming through
the mask is moist. The role of the humidifier is to moisten the air
and deliver pleasant temperature and humidity air right at the mask.
Humidity levels can be adjusted from levels 1 through 8, with 1 being
the lowest setting and 8 the highest humidity setting.
Mask Fit feature- helps
patients ensure the mask seals properly, that it fits comfortably and
that there are no leaks present. The mask should be fitted as showed
in the user guide, then select the Mask Fit feature and the device
will start blowing air. Next, adjust the mask, the cushion and the
headgear until the device shows an optimal fit result.
