The DeVilbiss IntelliPAP Standard Plus CPAP model DV53 has been designed with patients and providers in mind. The machine features SmartFlex technology , providing a unique exhalation pressure relief. There are no abrupt pressure adjustments, but the patient can exhale against a lower, much more comfortable pressure coming from the CPAP.

With SmartFlex & patented Flow Rounding technology, the gentle and constant pressure drop lasts for the entire duration of the exhalation process. SmartFlex also deactivates at any time the CPAP senses insufficient respiration (Apnea). SmartFlex is also available during the Ramp Delay.

SmatFlex ensure a natural and comfortable breathing waveform for the entire duration of the therapy.

The SmartFlex Technology has 3 different pressure reduction settings. The pressure will be automatically reduced upon the exhalation phase, and the machine increases pressure back to prescribed levels when the inhalation phase starts.
